Original Bosch engine control unit used in selected versions of the first-generation Volkswagen Touareg 7L with the 3.0 TDI engine. The offered module is prepared as IMMO OFF Plug & Play, so immobiliser pairing is not required before starting the vehicle.
Important information – IMMO OFF:
After installation of the ECU, an immobiliser warning or fault message may appear or remain on the instrument cluster.
This is a normal consequence of using the IMMO OFF version and does not mean that the immobiliser is still preventing the engine from starting.
This ECU variant has been confirmed for selected Volkswagen Touareg 7L vehicles with the 3.0 TDI engine.
Different engine control unit versions were used in the Volkswagen Touareg 7L, so the references on the original module should always be compared before purchase. Compatibility is best confirmed using the numbers 7L0 907 401 H / 7L0907401H and 0 281 014 355 / 0281014355.
An ECU fault may cause a variety of symptoms, so the electrical system, power supply and other engine management components should also be checked before replacing the module.
