ECUSALE Returns & Warranty Claims

Please review our return policy, warranty conditions and processing times.

Engine control units (ECUs), ABS modules, BCMs, ISMs and other automotive electronic components. Below you will find all information regarding returns, warranty claims and product support.

We are committed to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service. If you experience any issues with your purchase, our team will assist you through the warranty claim or return process.

🔧 Warranty Claims

If the purchased product is defective, damaged, or does not match your order, please contact us. In many cases, we can diagnose and resolve the issue remotely.

After the 14-day withdrawal period has expired, returns are no longer possible. Customers may then make use of the warranty claim procedure and product warranty.

As part of our warranty service, we provide technical support, diagnostics and product testing. If a fault is confirmed, the product will be repaired or replaced.

Please report any issue as soon as possible, providing the fault code, part number and a detailed description of the problem.

If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, the product must be returned to our company together with a description of the fault and any relevant diagnostic trouble codes.

The product will be tested and, depending on the verification results, repaired, replaced or another suitable solution will be offered.

3. Product Verification

Once we receive your claim, we will review the information and provide further instructions.

The warranty covers the purchased product only. Installation, removal, diagnostics, towing costs and any other additional expenses are not covered or reimbursed.

  • Product repair
  • Replacement with a fully functional unit
  • Refund for the product
  • Another solution agreed individually with the customer

5. Processing Time

The standard warranty claim processing time is up to 7 business days from the date the product is received.

You have the right to withdraw from the purchase and return the product within 14 days of delivery.

Important: Returned products must not show any signs of use, installation or testing in a vehicle. All warranty seals must remain intact.

The refund covers the product value only. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Services performed specifically at the customer's request are non-refundable.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • DPF OFF modifications
  • EGR OFF modifications
  • IMMO OFF programming
  • ECU cloning services
  • Performance tuning
  • Any custom software modifications

These services are carried out individually according to customer requirements and cannot be cancelled or refunded once completed.

⚠️ IMPORTANT!
If a returned product has been installed or connected to a vehicle, we reserve the right to charge a service fee of 70 €. This fee covers diagnostics, retesting and removal of any vehicle-specific data stored in the unit.

How to Return a Product

1. Select the products you wish to return
You may return all or part of your order.

2. Prepare the package
Pack the product securely and include proof of purchase together with a withdrawal statement.

3. Ship the package
Send the parcel to the return address listed below.

To speed up the refund process, please provide your bank account details. The withdrawal statement may also be sent to: sale@ecusale.com.

Refunds are processed within 7 business days after the returned product has been received and successfully inspected.

The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product.

Can I return an ECU engine controller after installation?

No. Returns are only possible for products that have not been used, installed or tested in a vehicle and have intact warranty seals.


How can I speed up the complaint process?

Please provide the order number, ECU part number and a detailed description of the issue. Photos or video significantly help with verification.


When will I receive my refund?

Refunds are processed within up to 7 working days after receiving and verifying the returned product.


Can I return a programmed ECU?

No. Services such as IMMO OFF, VIRGIN or cloning are non-refundable.


What if I received a damaged product?

Please contact us immediately – we will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
