Mercedes Engine ECU A2709002100 Bosch 0261S09816 MED17.7.2 – tested module ready for programming

Original Mercedes-Benz engine ECU A2709002100 manufactured by Bosch with number 0261S09816, system MED17.7.2. This module is designed for selected Mercedes vehicles equipped with 4-cylinder gasoline engines, mainly from the M270 engine family.

This ECU is fully tested, ready for installation, but requires programming, adaptation or cloning for the specific vehicle. We also offer ECU cloning service after receiving the original module or EEPROM and FLASH files.

Application – Mercedes-Benz

The ECU may fit selected Mercedes-Benz models with 1.6 / 2.0 gasoline engines, however compatibility must always be verified by comparing the original ECU part number.

  • Mercedes-Benz A-Class W176 – selected gasoline versions
  • Mercedes-Benz B-Class W246 – selected gasoline versions
  • Mercedes-Benz CLA C117 / X117 – selected gasoline versions
  • Mercedes-Benz GLA X156 / W156 – selected gasoline versions
  • Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG – selected MED17.7.2 versions

Most commonly found with 1.6 CGI / 2.0 CGI / 2.0 Turbo gasoline engines. Before purchase compare numbers A2709002100, A2709011700 and 0261S09816 with your damaged ECU.

Part Numbers

  • A2709002100
  • A 270 900 21 00
  • A2709011700
  • A 270 901 17 00
  • 0261S09816
  • 0 261 S09 816
  • Bosch MED17.7.2

Programming / Cloning

The ECU is not Plug & Play without preparation. After installation, programming, immobilizer adaptation or cloning from the original ECU is required.

We can perform ECU cloning if we receive:

  • the original engine ECU,
  • or EEPROM and FLASH files read from the original module.

After successful cloning the ECU can operate like the original vehicle module without additional immobilizer adaptation.

Typical Symptoms of Faulty MED17.7.2 ECU

  • no communication with engine ECU,
  • engine will not start,
  • injector or ignition faults,
  • ECU power supply problems,
  • rough engine operation,
  • vehicle stalls or does not crank,
  • immobilizer faults after ECU damage,
  • damage after short circuit, water ingress or failed repair.
