Original FPT/Magneti Marelli engine control unit used in selected Fiat Punto versions equipped from the factory with a petrol/CNG fuel system. The ECU has been prepared as VIRGIN Plug & Play – once correctly installed, it automatically stores the vehicle immobiliser data.
The engine code should be confirmed using the vehicle VIN. Before purchasing, compare the OEM number 51987329, references 9GF.N2 and BC.0116774.C, hardware version and connectors with your original ECU.
Similar symptoms may also be caused by faulty ignition coils, spark plugs, sensors, the CNG system, wiring or an incorrect power supply. We recommend carrying out a full vehicle diagnosis before replacing the ECU.
