The control unit is sold for programming – after installation it must be paired with the vehicle’s PATS immobiliser, e.g. using FORScan or a Ford IDS tester. Before ordering, make sure that:

Is this a Plug & Play control unit?

No. After installation this unit must be paired with the PATS immobiliser. It is not a self-adapting Virgin version like our 9GF units for Fiat models.

My Ka doesn’t have LPG – will this ECU fit?

Don’t assume so based on the model alone. This unit is described as the LPG version with Start&Stop – compare the part number 52014008 and the 9GF.TK marking on your control unit. If they are identical, it is the same ECU.

Will it fit a Fiat 500 1.2?

Don’t assume so. The Fiat 500 uses 9GF units with different numbers, e.g. 9GF.T6. Choose the control unit by the part number on the label – this one is 52014008, 9GF.TK.
