This ECU module with reference 7641003 and marking Bosch 0261S04158 is used in MINI Cooper S models with 1.6 Turbo (N14) and 1.4 petrol engines. The controller is commonly found in the R56 generation (2006–2013), including hatchback, cabrio and Clubman versions.
The unit has been thoroughly tested both on a diagnostic bench and in a test vehicle. It is fully operational but requires programming and adaptation to the immobiliser and the specific vehicle before use.
Configuration of this ECU should be carried out using tools such as BMW ISTA/P, Autel MaxiSys, Launch X431 or Bosch KTS. No VIN or vehicle data is stored, so full adaptation is necessary after installation.
