Original Bosch MED17.4 engine control unit for selected Peugeot and Citroën vehicles equipped with the 1.6 THP petrol engine. The module carries Bosch number 0261S04616, PSA number 9666325380 and hardware reference 9666319780. The ECU has been prepared in an IMMO OFF Plug & Play configuration.
The module is available with different software versions, so the vehicle model and engine capacity alone are not sufficient to confirm compatibility. Before purchasing, compare numbers 0 261 S04 616, 96 663 253 80 and 9666319780 with the label on the original ECU. We also recommend providing the VIN and a photo of the old module.
These symptoms may also be caused by wiring faults, sensors, injectors, ignition coils or the power supply system. Before replacing the ECU, check the power supply, grounds, CAN wiring and fault codes stored in the other vehicle modules.
The offered ECU has been prepared as IMMO OFF, meaning that the immobiliser function has been disabled. When a module with matching part numbers is installed, the vehicle can be started without pairing the ECU with the BSI and without the standard immobiliser synchronisation procedure.
The IMMO OFF version does not replace the need for correct software matching. If the equipment, gearbox or engine variant differs from the donor vehicle, the correct software or configuration may still need to be programmed.
On request, we can also perform 1:1 cloning of the data from the original ECU. The old module must be readable in order to complete the cloning process. With cloning, the immobiliser data and vehicle configuration are retained, so an IMMO OFF version is usually not required.
