ECU 51806501 – what to know
We offer a working MJD 6F3.P6 unit (Magneti Marelli) with part number 51806501. It controls the engine of the Fiat 1.3 Multijet. We test every unit before dispatch. The housing has been refurbished – the electronics have not been repaired.
Choose by part number
MJD 6F3.P6 ECUs were fitted to Fiat cars with the 1.3 Multijet engine. We match these ECUs by part number only, because the version is decided by the number, not by the MJD 6F3.P6 type alone. Number 51806501 on your label must match the number of this unit.
Preparation before dispatch
- Bench test.
- Fitting and check in our test car.
- On request, for an extra charge: EGR OFF and DPF OFF.
Warranty on the ECU: 6 months.
Virgin or IMMO OFF
- Virgin – Plug & Play: after fitting, the ECU codes itself to the car and immobiliser, no programming needed. Condition: matching part number and a working immobiliser.
- IMMO OFF on request: the car runs correctly, but a red immobiliser warning appears on the dashboard and a fault is stored in diagnostics that cannot be cleared without pairing with the immobiliser. The Virgin version does not have this fault.
Possible symptoms of a faulty ECU
- the engine does not start, no injector control,
- no communication with the ECU during diagnostics,
- no power supply to the ECU although the fuses are fine,
- failure after water ingress or a short circuit in the wiring.
These symptoms can also have other causes – wiring, power supply or sensors. Run a diagnosis before buying.
