Condition of the ECU
This is a used ECU. Before dispatch we check it twice: on the test bench and after fitting in our own test vehicle.
Virgin Plug & Play
ECU 0281014210 is prepared as Virgin Plug & Play – after fitting it codes itself to the vehicle and immobiliser, with no programming (condition: matching numbers and a working immobiliser). On request an IMMO OFF version is also possible: the car runs, but the immobiliser error and red warning light remain until the immobiliser is programmed.
When the ECU may be faulty
Before you buy, check with diagnostics whether the ECU is to blame. A faulty ECU may be indicated by:
- failure after water ingress or a short circuit,
- no start and no injector control,
- no power despite good fuses,
- no communication with the ECU.
