Why choose Virgin
The Virgin version needs no programming: the ECU adapts itself to the car and immobiliser, provided the numbers match and the immobiliser works. The IMMO OFF version (on request) also starts the engine, but leaves the immobiliser error and red message until it is programmed – which is why Virgin is the better choice.
When the ECU may be faulty
A faulty ECU may be indicated by:
- no communication with the ECU,
- no start and no injector control,
- no power despite good fuses,
- failure after water ingress or a short circuit.
These symptoms can also have other causes – wiring, power supply or sensors. Run diagnostics before buying.

What is the difference between IMMO OFF and Virgin?
With IMMO OFF the car runs, but the immobiliser error and a red message on the dash remain – only immobiliser programming removes them. Virgin does not have this error.
