BSI BCM body control module 1364524080 503440290202 NBC250S.01

This Magneti Marelli module is a central body electronics controller used in selected commercial vehicles built on the type 250 platform. Before installation, the data from the original BSI or BCM must be transferred to preserve the vehicle configuration, immobiliser information and key operation.

Applications of the 1364524080 body computer module

  • Fiat Ducato III, type 250 – selected commercial versions produced approximately between 2006 and 2011,
  • Peugeot Boxer II, type 250 – selected panel van, chassis cab and minibus versions produced approximately between 2006 and 2011,
  • Citroën Jumper II, type 250 – selected commercial configurations from a similar production period,
  • various engine versions – engine capacity and engine code alone are not sufficient criteria for selecting the correct body control module.

Before purchasing, compare the OEM number 1364524080, the manufacturer reference 503440290202 and the version NBC250S.01 with the original module. It is also advisable to check the designation CDRC58N2L, as matching the vehicle model and year does not guarantee an identical equipment configuration.

Common symptoms of a faulty 1364524080 503440290202 BSI or BCM module

  • left or right indicator not working,
  • problems with the central locking system, remote control or key recognition,
  • the engine cannot be started while the immobiliser remains active,
  • lights, windscreen wipers or other electrical components switching on by themselves,
  • loss of power to cabin equipment and random warning messages on the instrument cluster,
  • no diagnostic communication with the body computer module,
  • battery drain caused by the electronics failing to enter sleep mode correctly.

Similar symptoms may also be caused by damaged wiring, connectors, fuses, ground points or other modules connected to the CAN network. Before replacing the BCM, check its power supply and carry out a complete vehicle diagnosis.

Cloning and preparation of the NBC250S.01 1364524080 503440290202 module

The module is not a Plug & Play component unless it has been prepared beforehand. The safest solution is to perform a complete clone of the data from the original BSI or BCM to the replacement unit.

  • both the original module and the purchased replacement unit are required for the service,
  • cloning is carried out on the bench using a specialist BSI or BCM programmer compatible with the Magneti Marelli NBC250S.01,
  • identification data, equipment configuration, immobiliser information and key data are transferred,
  • the specific programmer and connection method are selected by the electronics specialist after checking the circuit board version and installed memory components,
  • standard diagnostics through the OBD connector do not replace a complete data clone,
  • after a correct cloning procedure, the module should operate in the same way as the original vehicle unit.

After installation, the configuration can be checked with MultiECUScan in the Fiat Ducato 250 or with DiagBox in the Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Jumper. These diagnostic tools are used to check faults, configuration and any required alignment procedures, but they do not perform a complete clone of the damaged module.

Frequently asked questions

Does the 1364524080 module fit every Fiat Ducato 250?

No. The body computer was available in different equipment versions. Compare the number 1364524080, the NBC250S.01 designation and all remaining information shown on the original module label.

Does the 503440290202 BSI for the Peugeot Boxer require programming?

Yes. A used module contains data from the previous vehicle, so it should be cloned from the original BSI or BCM or individually programmed before installation.

Which tool can be used to clone the Magneti Marelli NBC250S.01 module?

A professional bench programmer supporting NBC250 BSI and BCM modules is required. The exact tool, adapter and procedure are selected by the electronics specialist after opening the module and identifying the installed memory.

Do the keys need to be programmed again after cloning the 1364524080 BCM?

With a complete and correctly performed clone, the immobiliser data and stored keys are transferred from the original module. Registering the keys again is therefore not normally required.

Does engine capacity matter when selecting a BSI for a Citroën Jumper?

It is not the main selection criterion because the module controls the vehicle’s body electronics. The most important factors are matching part numbers, hardware version and vehicle equipment configuration.
