Condition in which we ship it
This is a new Bosch ECU. After fitting it codes itself to the vehicle and immobiliser, but the injector codes must be written with a diagnostic tester.
Virgin Plug & Play
The Virgin version works with no faults: once connected it pairs itself with the immobiliser and vehicle, with no immobiliser programming. IMMO OFF also starts the engine, but leaves an immobiliser fault and a red warning on the dashboard that disappears only after programming the immobiliser – that is why we recommend Virgin. Condition: matching numbers and a working immobiliser.
Additional services
At extra cost: chip tuning, EGR OFF, DPF OFF. Free of charge: cloning – just send the old ECU or its files. Warranty: 1 year.
Possible symptoms of a faulty ECU
- the engine does not start, no injector control,
- no communication with the ECU during diagnostics,
- no power supply to the ECU although the fuses are fine,
- failure after water ingress or a short circuit in the wiring.
These symptoms can also have other causes – wiring, power supply or sensors. Run a diagnosis before buying.
