Original BMW DDE 8511332 engine control unit with Bosch number 0281017102 for BMW cars with the 2.0 Diesel engine. A used unit, never repaired and never contaminated with diesel. The Bosch number may be written as one string (0281017102) or with spaces – it is the same number.
Data cloning included
ECU 8511332 is used, so it will not work straight after plugging in. It has to be programmed in the car, or the data from your old ECU has to be transferred to it: immobiliser, ISN and VIN. We do the cloning at no extra cost – just send us your current unit.

This number was fitted to BMW cars with the 2.0 Diesel engine. The safest way is to compare labels – number 8511332 and Bosch number 0281017102 must be the same as on your ECU. A different number means a different version. If in doubt, send us your VIN.
Diesel in the ECU – the most common fault
- Cause: a leaking fuel pressure sensor – diesel travels through the wiring to the ECU connector and destroys the electronics.
- We repair ECUs contaminated with diesel, with no communication and those that cut out when the engine is warm.
- After repair, the ECU needs no programming.
- Replace the leaking sensor before refitting, or the fault will return.
