DDE ECU 8511333 – what to know
BMW number 8511333 and Bosch number 0281017103 identify an original 2.0 Diesel engine ECU. This used unit has not been repaired or contaminated with diesel – we check this by opening the housing for an internal inspection. We then fit it to a test car and check how it runs. Warranty: 6 months.

Extra modifications
For an extra charge we carry out swirl flap removal (Flaps OFF) and EGR OFF. We do DPF OFF and AdBlue OFF only when the car has these systems – AdBlue is fitted to some models only.
How to check compatibility
This number was fitted to BMW cars with the 2.0 Diesel engine. The safest way is to compare labels – number 8511333 and Bosch number 0281017103 must be the same as on your ECU. A different number means a different version. If in doubt, send us your VIN.
Repair instead of replacement
If your ECU has no communication, cuts out once the engine is warm or has been contaminated with diesel, we can repair it – then it does not need programming. In the BMW 2.0 Diesel, diesel usually leaks from a faulty fuel pressure sensor and reaches the ECU connector through the wiring. Replace this sensor before refitting, or the problem will come back.
