Original ECU 8518635 (0281018663)
We sell a used, original DDE 8518635 unit (Bosch 0281018663) for the BMW 2.0 Diesel. Before dispatch we look inside it and then test it in a car. The unit has never been repaired and has never been in contact with diesel. The ECU comes with a warranty of 6 months.
Services for an extra charge
Before dispatch we can carry out EGR OFF and Flaps OFF (swirl flap removal), and on cars that have these systems also DPF OFF and AdBlue OFF. Keep in mind that not every model has AdBlue.
Would you rather repair your ECU?
We also repair BMW 2.0 Diesel ECUs – contaminated with diesel, with no communication, and those that stop the engine once it is warm. The advantage of a repair is that a repaired ECU needs no programming. Diesel usually escapes from a leaking fuel pressure sensor and travels along the wiring to the ECU connector, so replace that sensor before refitting. We explain the details in our articles BMW ECU contaminated with diesel and BMW N47 / B47 ECU faults.
Does this ECU fit your BMW?
This number was fitted to the BMW F10 / F11. The model and year alone are not enough. Compare the label: if it shows 8518635 and 0281018663, it is the same ECU.
Numbers to compare with your label
The sticker of an original BMW ECU shows the BMW number and the Bosch number. On this unit they are:
- BMW number: 8518635 / DDE8518635 / DDE8518635-01
- Bosch number: 0281018663 / 0 281 018 663
Data cloning included
ECU 8518635 is used, so it will not work straight after plugging in. It has to be programmed in the car, or the data from your old ECU has to be transferred to it: immobiliser, ISN and VIN. We do the cloning at no extra cost – just send us your current unit.
