We sell a used, original DDE 8585378 unit (Bosch 0281031775) for the BMW 2.0 Diesel. Before dispatch we look inside it and then test it in a car. The unit has never been repaired and has never been in contact with diesel. The ECU comes with a warranty of 6 months.
Repair of your ECU
The most common cause of BMW 2.0 Diesel ECU failure is diesel: it leaks from a faulty fuel pressure sensor and travels through the wiring to the ECU connector, destroying the electronics. We repair ECUs contaminated with diesel, with no communication and those that cut out once the engine is warm. A repaired ECU needs no programming. Like any used ECU, 8585378 has to be matched to the car. The simplest way is cloning: you send us your old ECU and we transfer the immobiliser, ISN and VIN from it – included in the price. The other option is programming in the car.
