Original ECU 8573583 (0281019701)
We sell a used, original DDE 8573583 unit (Bosch 0281019701) for the BMW 2.0 Diesel. Before dispatch we look inside it and then test it in a car. The unit has never been repaired and has never been in contact with diesel. The ECU comes with a warranty of 6 months.
Programming or cloning – included
A used ECU must be programmed in the car or cloned with the data from your old ECU (immobiliser, ISN, VIN). Cloning is included in the price – send us your old unit and we will transfer the data to the ECU you bought.
Diesel in the ECU – the most common fault
- Cause: a leaking fuel pressure sensor – diesel travels through the wiring to the ECU connector and destroys the electronics.
- We repair ECUs contaminated with diesel, with no communication and those that cut out when the engine is warm.
- After repair, the ECU needs no programming.
- Replace the leaking sensor before refitting, or the fault will return.

Extra modifications
For an extra charge we carry out swirl flap removal (Flaps OFF) and EGR OFF. We do DPF OFF and AdBlue OFF only when the car has these systems – AdBlue is fitted to some models only.
