Vehicle compatibility
Before ordering, check two numbers on the label: 06F906056FF and 0261S02263. Your version missing from the description rules nothing out, but a different number, e.g. 03C906016AM (0261S06083), means a different version of the ECU. We list this unit for: VW Passat / Jetta 2.0 FSI.
Installation and preparation
Fitting means plugging the ECU in where the old one was – no key coding and no programming. It runs without errors after fitting. Cloning the data from your ECU is available on request (send the ECU or files).
Symptoms of a failed ECU
An ECU fault may be indicated by, among others:
- the engine stalls while running
- no diagnostic communication with the ECU
- recurring injection errors
- rough engine running
Before buying an ECU, rule out the power supply, earth and wiring – they can cause the same symptoms.
