Vehicle compatibility
Before ordering, check two numbers on the label: 03C906016AJ and 0261S05808. Your version missing from the description rules nothing out, but a different number, e.g. 03C906027G (0261S04348), means a different version of the ECU. We list this unit for: VW Golf V.
Installation and preparation
The IMMO OFF Plug & Play version needs no programming or immobiliser adaptation. The ECU runs without errors after fitting. If you prefer a clone of the data from your own ECU, we will make it on request once you send the ECU or its files.
Symptoms of a failed ECU
A failed ECU can show different symptoms, for example:
- the engine does not start
- no diagnostic communication with the ECU
- the engine stalls while running
- recurring injection errors
Before buying an ECU, rule out the power supply, earth and wiring – they can cause the same symptoms.
