DDE ECU 8509794 – what to know
BMW number 8509794 and Bosch number 0281016748 identify an original 3.0 Diesel engine ECU. This used unit has not been repaired or contaminated with diesel – we check this by opening the housing for an internal inspection. We then fit it to a test car and check how it runs. Warranty: 6 months.
Preparing for fitting
Like any used ECU, 8509794 has to be matched to the car. The simplest way is cloning: you send us your old ECU and we transfer the immobiliser, ISN and VIN from it – included in the price. The other option is programming in the car. In-car programming can be done with ISTA+ / ISTA 4, ISTA/P or E-Sys.
