The typical scenario: blocked drains, water under the scuttle and a flooded ECU. Confirm symptoms – starting problems, injectors, rough running, misfiring – with a diagnosis, as they can have other sources. So that the new ECU does not end up the same way, keep the scuttle drainage clear; the housing protection does not make it waterproof.
Virgin – programmed like new
The ECU is clean – Virgin: wiped of data, immobiliser and Car Pass code. After fitting it is programmed like a new unit with Tech-2 or OP-COM. The electronics have never been repaired. We refurbished the housing and protected it against water, but it is not waterproof.
Cloning is included: send the EEPROM and FLASH files (MPC processor) or your whole old ECU. Extra cost: EGR OFF, tuning and, on versions with a DPF filter, DPF OFF. Warranty: 6 months.
