0281013013 / 4L0910409 set – master and slave for the Audi Q7 4.2 TDI
The set contains two Bosch 0281013013 engine ECUs (Audi 4L0910409, EDC16CP34) for the Audi Q7 4L 4.2 TDI V8: the master and the slave. Both are prepared as IMMO OFF Plug & Play, so the engine starts after fitting without programming and without fault codes. Warranty: 6 months.

Installation: master horizontal, slave vertical
The ECUs are labelled: fit the master horizontally and the slave vertically – in the same places as the factory units. Do not swap them. The set is always replaced as a pair: the IMMO OFF version only works when both ECUs from the set are in the car.
Important: do not update the ECUs
After fitting the IMMO OFF set, ask the workshop not to update the engine ECU software. An update disables IMMO OFF and restores the factory immobiliser – the ECUs would then have to be programmed.
Vehicle compatibility
The set fits the Audi Q7 4L 4.2 TDI V8 with factory ECUs 0281013013 / 4L0910409. The label numbers decide, not the model list – your version missing from the description rules nothing out. Symptoms of a failed ECU in the Q7 4.2 TDI
A failed ECU in the Q7 4.2 TDI usually shows sudden symptoms, for example:

- synchronisation faults between master and slave
- the engine starts and stalls shortly after
- the car cannot be started after replacing one ECU
