How to check compatibility
This ECU is used in the BMW F10 / F11 525d. The safest way is to compare labels – number 8518391 and Bosch number 0281018563 must be the same as on your ECU. A different number means a different version.
Repair of your ECU
The most common cause of BMW 2.0 Diesel ECU failure is diesel: it leaks from a faulty fuel pressure sensor and travels through the wiring to the ECU connector, destroying the electronics. We repair ECUs contaminated with diesel, with no communication and those that cut out once the engine is warm. A repaired ECU needs no programming. Programming or cloning – included
A used ECU must be programmed in the car or cloned with the data from your old ECU (immobiliser, ISN, VIN). Cloning is included in the price – send us your old unit and we will transfer the data to the ECU you bought.

On request we carry out EGR OFF, DPF OFF, AdBlue OFF and swirl flap removal (Flaps OFF). DPF OFF and AdBlue OFF only on cars fitted with these systems – not every model has AdBlue.
