Original ECU 8578188 (0281030766)
We sell a used, original DDE 8578188 unit (Bosch 0281030766) for the BMW 2.0 Diesel. Before dispatch we look inside it and then test it in a car. The unit has never been repaired and has never been in contact with diesel. The ECU comes with a warranty of 6 months.
Programming or cloning – included
A used ECU must be programmed in the car or cloned with the data from your old ECU (immobiliser, ISN, VIN). Cloning is included in the price – send us your old unit and we will transfer the data to the ECU you bought.
Extra services (paid)
On request we carry out EGR OFF, DPF OFF, AdBlue OFF and swirl flap removal (Flaps OFF). DPF OFF and AdBlue OFF only on cars fitted with these systems – not every model has AdBlue.

Diesel in the ECU – the most common fault
- Cause: a leaking fuel pressure sensor – diesel travels through the wiring to the ECU connector and destroys the electronics.
- We repair ECUs contaminated with diesel, with no communication and those that cut out when the engine is warm.
- After repair, the ECU needs no programming.
- Replace the leaking sensor before refitting, or the fault will return.
