All SID208 units share the same hardware, and engine power and displacement are the same – the software changes only because of equipment. That is why after ordering, send us whether the vehicle has air conditioning and which gearbox it has: manual or automatic.
Water – the main cause of SID208 failure
SID208 units are most often damaged by water: a short circuit occurs on the injector side and the ECU stops sending the signal to the injectors, so the engine will not start. The housing of this unit is protected against water but is not waterproof – protect the ECU from flooding and make sure the water drains in the vehicle are clear. Fits the Boxer and Jumper 2.2 HDi if your ECU has the same numbers:

- Software number S/W: 9679182280

Condition and preparation
We sell it as Virgin: the ECU programs itself once connected – no coding and no pairing with the immobiliser, as long as the immobiliser works and the numbers match. It has never been repaired, and the refurbished housing is protected against water (which does not make it waterproof). Before shipping we test it on the bench and in a vehicle.
