The typical scenario: water ingress, a short circuit on the injector side and no injector signal. So that the new ECU does not share the fate of the old one, protect it from water and keep an eye on the drains in the vehicle – the housing is protected but not waterproof. Vehicle compatibility
The ECU is intended for Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Jumper 2.2 HDi. On the label of your old ECU find the Continental number and the S/W number – they must match character for character:
- Continental number: S180129303D
- Software number S/W: 9691799280
The remaining numbers do not affect the choice. Other SID208 units we have: S180129301B, S180129303C, S180129001D, S180129001G.
Important: information after purchase
All SID208 units share the same hardware, and engine power and displacement are the same – the software changes only because of equipment. That is why after ordering, send us whether the vehicle has air conditioning and which gearbox it has: manual or automatic.
How we prepared this unit
We sell it as Virgin: the ECU programs itself once connected – no coding and no pairing with the immobiliser, as long as the immobiliser works and the numbers match. It has never been repaired, and the refurbished housing is protected against water (which does not make it waterproof). Before shipping we test it on the bench and in a vehicle.
